MESSAGES
On behalf of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), I would like to congratulate Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. for organizing the Bulacan Business Conference (BBC) and BUFFEX (Bulacan Food Fair and Exposition) 2020 with the theme “Kalusugan at Kabuhayan: Yaman ng Pamayanan. Ipagpatuloy ang Nasimulan, Pagsubok Sama-Samang Lampasan.” Indeed, this innovative event will provide an ideal venue where businessmen, aspiring entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders can learn about the important role of digital marketing platforms which can help them become more competitive. It will also help broaden their access to a wider market especially during this pandemic and in this fast-changing global economic environment.
Now more than ever, the need for innovation and resilience has become critical in the new business environment reshaped abruptly by the pandemic. Enterprises have to be reengineered, repurposed, or even rebuilt using innovations that can boost their productivity, add more value to their products and services and ultimately lead to improved profitability. Thus, it is essential to gain more knowledge on how efficient it will be to digitalize our marketing strategies in which the consumers and entrepreneurs can benefit. With the launching of BUFFEX Online – The Bulacan Market Portal which can accommodate to 1,000 merchants, our fellow Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), aspiring entrepreneurs, start-ups, and displaced workers in Bulacan have been given hope and access to prospective buyers, not only locally but also internationally. This project will indeed assist them further in surviving through the difficulties that they may be experiencing due to this pandemic.
Rest assured, PCCI will continue to give its full support to BCCI and to helping these MSMEs to grow and be innovatively competitive in this current economic environment. I hope that there would be more initiatives such as this conference in order to realize the full potential of the Philippines, and to achieve a resilient and sustainable Philippine economy.
Maraming salamat po. Mabuhay!
