August 2024 - The Malolos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), an affiliate member of BCCI, conducted a Chamber Management Workshop on August 29, 2024 at Taverna by Bahay na Tisa in the City of Malolos. This activity aims to gain a deeper understanding of the obligations and functions of a chamber. As the mother chamber, the BCCI was requested to provide competent resource speakers on the said workshop. Ms. Lilibeth M. Alcaraz, Vice President for Chamber Services and Local Programs discussed the topic about Membership Development. Ms. Mara Bautista, BCCI Consultant discussed the topics about Good Governance and Chamber Operations. MCCI was established with the help and guidance of the Bulacan CCI, this is one of BCCI’s goals to bring the chamber movement, spirit, and services closer to the municipalities and cities of Bulacan by establishing Local Business Councils in select city and municipality in the province.

In preparation for the Annual General Assembly and Election 2024, the BCCI Chairman, Ms. Corina Bautista, President, Ms. Cristina Tuzon, Strategic Planning Officer, Mr. Pacifico Aniag, Consultant, Ms. Mara Bautista, and Finance and Admin Officer, Ms. Ruth Jimenez, had a meeting last January 5, 2024, via Zoom. One of the agenda was the discussion on the proposed amendments to the Chamber.
