As part of the efforts in introducing new activities and distinct programs for the Municipal Government of Guiguinto, the Gawad Guintong Halaman shall be formally and regularly implemented starting 2019. Gawad Guintong Halaman is a recognition program for its constituents with distinctions and significant contributions, particularly for the development of the Municipality of Guiguinto in various aspects. BCCI Membership Services and Business Development Officer, Ms. Jonie Mangalonzo, attended the orientation and table validation that was held last January 11, 2024, at the 2nd Floor, Guiguinto Municipal Athletic and Cultural Center. The BCCI was one of the selection committee members.
At the instruction of Hon. Arthur A. Legaspi, Chairman of the Committee on Trade and Industry, and Hon. Cezar L. Mendoza, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means, the Office of the Secretary of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (OSSP), conducted the committee meeting regarding the Proposed Provincial Ordinance 011-2023, “An ordinance amending the Provincial Investment Incentive Ordinance of 1999, as amended by Provincial Ordinance No. 17-2015,” held last January 11, 2024, at the office of the Vice Governor, Provincial Capitol Compound, City of Malolos, Bulacan. BCCI Executive Vice President, Ms. Lilibeth Alcaraz, attended the meeting to represent the BCCI.
In line with the celebration of the Municipality of Guiguinto’s Halamanan Festival, the awarding of winners for the Gawad Guintong Halaman was held last January 21, 2024, at the Guiguinto Municipal Oval. BCCI Trustee, Dra. Jehan Echavez attended the awarding ceremony to represent the BCCI. BCCI was seated as a Selection Committee member.
The Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (BCCI) conducted the Annual General Assembly and Election of Trustees last January 19, 2024, at Mariano Ponce Hall, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, Provincial Capitol Compound, City of Malolos, Bulacan. BCCI’s election was conducted via Google Form. Member companies were provided profiles of the nominees in advance, as well as all the important details of the online votation. The result of the election was declared after the online voting. The newly elected Trustees were proclaimed.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the country’s commemoration of the establishment of the First Philippine Republic on its 125th anniversary milestone last January 23, 2024, at the Barasaoin Church Historical Landmark, Malolos City, Bulacan. BCCI Chairman, Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, and Trustees, Ms. Carmen Uychoco, Dra. Jehan Echavez, and Ms. Cristina Fuentes, attended the celebration to represent the BCCI.
