July 2024 - The PCCI’s 2nd General Membership Meeting, with the topic “Achieving Economic Resiliency Through Strategic Partnerships and Sustainable Legislative Reforms,” was held last July 17, 2024, at the Mayuree Ballroom, Dusit Hotel, Makati City. The Senate President, Hon. Francis Joseph "Chiz" G. Escudero advocated for laws that will provide a sustainable and balanced environment for businesses and the economy as a whole, outlining his priorities and orientations for the programs. BCCI President, Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, Vice President for Chamber Services and Local Programs, Ms. Lilibeth M. Alcaraz, Chairperson for Sponsorship, Engr. Jose A. Francia attended the meeting to represent the BCCI.

July 2024 - Converge Tech A Sip was a night of industry camaraderie that happened last July 18, 2024, at the Poolside, Best Western Hotel, Angeles City, Pampanga. Converge, a BCCI member company, was greeted with support from BCCI President Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, Vice President for Chamber Services and Local Programs Ms. Lilibeth M. Alcaraz, and other representatives from BCCI member firms.

July 2024 - The BCCI Board of Trustees had an emergency meeting for the 12th year of the Bulacan Food Fair and Exposition (BUFFEX) last July 29, 2024. The meeting tackled about the projected costs and prospective sponsors of the event. It was attended by President Corina Tengco-Bautista, Trustees, Ms. Josephine Santos, Ms. Maura Manuel, Ms. Lilibeth Alcaraz, Ms. Cristina Fuentes, Ms. Che Estinopo, Mr. Alex Torres, Mr. Pilipino Ramos, Mr. Carlito Geronimo, and Mr. Pacifico Aniag. Regional Governor of PCCI-Region 3, Ms. Cristina Tuzon, and Consultant, Ms. Mara Bautista, and the Secretariat were also present during the meeting.

July 2024 - The Provincial Government of Bulacan will once again recognize Bulakenyos who have shown excellence and brought honor to the province, with an award known as Dangal ng Lipi for 2024. Members of the screening committee, including the BCCI, met last July 19, 2024, to assess the nominees. BCCI President, Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, represented the organization.

August 2024 - Chamber Program during the North Luzon Chamber Development Workshop, which was held in conjunction with the 33rd North Luzon Area Business Conference in Cauayan City, IsabelaThe Adopt-A-Chamber Program represents a proactive and inclusive approach to chamber development, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, mentorship, and mutual support in advancing the interests and welfare of businesses within the North Luzon region. This program aims to empower Local Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCIs) to thrive, innovate, and drive positive change that benefits businesses, communities, and the broader economy by harnessing the power of partnership and collective action. During the launch, the pilot chambers participating in the program signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Bulacan CCI, the Metro Angeles CCI, and the Pampanga CCI as mentors and PCCI-Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Western Pangasinan, Metro Dagupan, PCCI Ilagan, PCCI Southern Isabela and PCCI Baguio Benguet as mentees. Bulacan CCI will mentor three (3) provincial chambers such as Bataan, Baguio Benguet, and Nueva Ecija. Bulacan CCI takes the challenge being chosen as a pilot mentor for the PCCI NL program as this is a significant achievement that highlights the trust and recognition Bulacan CCI has earned. Mentoring provincial chambers like Bataan, Baguio-Benguet, and Nueva Ecija is a great opportunity to share knowledge and foster regional growth. President Corina Tengco-Bautista signed the MOU in behalf of the Bulacan CCI.

During the Chamber Development Workshop, Bulacan CCI President Corina Tengco-Bautista took center stage to present the organization’s best practices in “Financial Health and Membership Growth.” Her presentation offered valuable insights and practical strategies that have been instrumental in Bulacan CCI’s success. BCCI continues to strive to achieve financial stability despite its outstanding status, membership retention and growth, as well as financial management are two areas of concern that have kept BCCI wide awake and kicking. What keeps BCCI anchored is its passion for service. CHAMBER WORK IS GOOD WORK.
