February 2024 - Last January 25, 2024, Governor Daniel Fernando signed the Executive Order No. 05, Series of 2024, “An Order for the Organization of a Planning Team for the Updating of the Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP)” where the BCCI was identified as one of the members of the Technical Working Group (TWG). In this relation to this, a Stakeholder's Consultation was organized February 8, 2024, at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, City of Malolos, Bulacan. This event reviewed the vision and formulated a development framework for the Province of Bulacan. President Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, represented the BCCI.

February 2024 - The BCCI participated in the PCCI-North Luzon Strategic Planning last February 12, 2024 held at the Residencia Romero McArthur Highway, Telabastagan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The strategic planning identified the vision, mission, and thrusts of PCCI-North Luzon. LCCI’s shared their best practices and presented their plans and advocacy work programs in North Luzon for the Chamber Year 2024–2025. BCCI President, Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, and Corporate Secretary, Mr. Pilipino Ramos shared the Activities / Projects and accomplishments of the BCCI for the year 2023.

February 2024 - The Screening and Selection Committee for the Most Outstanding Bulacan Businessmen (MOBB) Awards had a meeting last February 17, 2024, at Calle Jose Kitchen & Café, Gil Carlos St., Baliwag, Bulacan. The meeting screened the seven (7) nominees for MOBB 2023. Additional documents/ proofs were requested to some nominees to comply with the criteria to ensure that they truly deserve the award. The meeting was attended by the PCCI Regional Governor, Ms. Cristina Tuzon, BCCI President, Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, Vice Chairman, Ms. Maura Manuel, Auditor, Ms. Josephine Santos, Corporate Secretary, Mr. Pilipino Ramos, and the Secretariat.

February 2024 - The Bureau of Industry Planning and Innovation (formerly the Competitiveness Bureau) conducted the CMCI Advocacy Campaign last February 14, 2024, via Zoom. This advocacy campaign is an information dissemination initiative intended to further educate LGUs and DTI focal persons on an in-depth and deep dive of the CMCI Program. It also aimed to deepen their capabilities and understanding of the value of collecting and submitting the much-needed data to the CMCI Portal, among others.

BCCI is one of the members of the Provincial CMCI - TWG, created to review and validate the Local Data Capture Sheet of each municipality, which is necessary to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data submitted on local competitiveness and the improvement of the standing of Bulacan LGUs in the CMCI National Rankings. The Provincial Government of Bulacan through the People’s Agenda 10 is committed to enhance the competitiveness and foster the viability of the province as the Country’s Investment Capital. BCCI Membership Services and Business Development Officer, Ms. Jonie Mangalonzo, attended the virtual meeting to represent the BCCI.

February 2024 - The newly elected BCCI President, Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, spearheaded the Annual Planning Workshop last February 20, 2024, at Max’s Restaurant, Kapitolyo. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Pilipino Ramos, Corporate Secretary. Strategic Planning Officer, Mr. Pacifico Aniag discussed and explained the need to abide with the BCCI’s Amended By-Laws in filling the Vice Presidents positions and Committee Chairmanships. The duties and responsibilities for each positions were also reviewed and discussed. President Corina Bautista appointed the new set of VP positions and Committee heads for the Chamber Year 2024. The BCCI Trustees and Secretariat were grouped into three (3) to brainstorm and come up with activity/ project proposals in relation to the following criteria: a. High-Impact Advocacy Programs/ Advocacy initiatives that were successfully implemented by the Local Chamber which resulted to policies or programs of national / local government and other support institutions that benefit the business community; b. Effective and Efficient Delivery of Local Chamber Services and Programs; c. Excellent Organization and Leadership.
