February 2024 - THRIVE Central Luzon Regional Inclusive Innovation Center (RIIC) partner agencies DTI and DOST are currently supporting the conduct of a face-to-face data gathering for a Regional Innovation Ecosystem Assessment by the U.S.- Philippines Partnership for Skills, Innovation, and Lifelong Learning (UPSKILL) Program, together with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) D-Lab. BCCI VP for Advocacy, Dr. Jehan Echavez, represented the BCCI in an interview for the THRIVE Central Luzon Data Gathering last February 23, 2024, at the Bulacan State University E-Library
February 2024 - Board Member Romeo V. Castro, Jr., Chairman of the Committee on Land Use, Urban Planning, and Housing, and Hon. Alexis C. Castro, Vice Governor and Chairman of the Legislative Backstopping Committee, spearheaded the 2nd public hearing regarding the Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) for the years 2024–2036 of the Province of Bulacan last February 26, 2024, at the Senator Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. Hall, Provincial Capitol Compound, City of Malolos, Bulacan. BCCI President, Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, attended the meeting to represent the BCCI.
March 2024 - THE PHILIPPINE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY—NORTH LUZON HELD THE NORTH LUZON GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, TURNOVER, AND JOINT INDUCTION CEREMONIES LAST MARCH 1, 2024, AT THE GLOBAL GRAND PAVILION, WASHINGTON ST. COR. WATERFRONT ROAD, SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE. THE PCCI-NL INVITED PCCI PRESIDENT CONSUL ENUNINA V. MANGIO AS THE INDUCTING OFFICER AND SMBA CHAIRMAN AND ADMINISTRATOR EDUARDO L. ALIÑO AS THE KEYNOTE SPEAKER FOR THE OCCASION. BCCI CHAIRMAN OFELIA B. MANGULABNAN, VICE CHAIRMAN MAURA H. MANUEL, PRESIDENT CORINA TENGCO-BAUTISTA, TREASURER ENGR. MARIA CECILIA G. ESTINOPO, AGRI COMMITTEE CHAIR LILIBETH M. ALCARAZ AND TOURISM COMMITTEE CHAIR CARLITO M. GERONIMO ATTENDED THE MEETING AND WERE INDUCTED DURING THE CEREMONY.
February 2024 - The DILG Bulacan, through its Sub-Local Governance Regional Resource Center’s (Sub-LGRRC’s) Multi- Stakeholder Advisory Council (MSAC), conducted its first quarter meeting last February 28, 2023, at Max’s Restaurant, Capitol Compound, Brgy. Guinhawa, City of Malolos, Bulacan. BCCI Chairman, Ms. Ofelia Mangulabnan, and President, Ms. Corina Tengco-Bautista, attended the meeting to represent the BCCI.
March 2024 - BCCI CHAIRMAN, MS. OFELIA MANGULABNAN PRESIDED THE 2ND BOARD MEETING HELD LAST MARCH 5, 2024, AT THE BCCI OFFICE. THE MAIN AGENDA OF THE MEETING WERE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TECHNICAL WORKING GROUPS FOR THE BCCI OFFICE AND FOR THE MOST OUTSTANDING BULACAN BUSINESSMEN 2024. THE MEETING WAS ATTENDED BY ELEVEN (11) MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
